Fourth Grade Cubism Portriats in Progress...

Our fourth graders have been getting to know they style of art called cubism.  We have looked at many of his portraits and recognized the multiple and fragmented views, angles, and geometric shapes they are composed from.  On day one we started our own cubist portraits by arranging cardboard shapes into interesting compositions.  Next we will add some facial features and add oil pastel to bring them to life!
